Minutes – Decisions and To Do List
Attending:
Vanessa Andrews, Jim Anderson, Terry Anderson, Bruce Sidwell, Corinne Lackner Stephens, Mike
Smith, Michael Wilpers, Kit Gage

1. Treasurer – Checking ~$17K, Savings ~$14K. Expenses higher so far from reprint of brochure.
Considering approaching $5K donor proactively.
Terry took himself out of contention – but volunteered to promote applicants for Treasurer at Sweep the
Creek tables with Kit.
Vanessa looking into process/price for bonding the treasurer. And with new treasurer, will get new
signatures at bank.

2. Sweep the Creek – on target – will get report from Patton on pickup time [since reported as on her
porch beginning 5 pm, Sept 22]
Jim will contact Civicus folks from UM about doing Longbranch and will seek a RIP supervisor for
them.

3. Stormwater
Oct 11 approved for Sligo Park Hills Green Neighborhood tour
Wash. Adventist Hospital – awaiting Parks’ evaluation of the stormwater projects in the Park after our
complaint and article in the newsletter
Wash. Adventist Univ – a meeting Oct 6 about the parking lot problems. Kit to contact some MoCo
folks to attend.

4. RIP
Jim reaching out to stewards/Roundtable to help prioritize sites and review aims. Plus lots of
pulling/whacking.

5. Planting Day – Sept 21 – Corinne – have 10-12 volunteers, so probably enough.

6. Roundtable and other Organizational Issues:
Bruce will check with Clair to make sure Board and Roundtable lists are up to date (which they aren’t).
Add Anne Vorce to the list of those invited to the Oct 18 Roundtable meeting
Kit add to Terry’s sheet on Sweep the Creek, the other vacancies/volunteer opportunities

7. Kit will check with Andrew as to status and timetable for the database.
