Litter Committee Minutes
April 5, 2007

1. Reviewed layout for banners and suggested improvements. Jane will finalize it with sign maker tomorrow.
2. Discussed Sweep supplies/distribution plus where to place banners (Sligo Parkway and University, Dennis, Colesville, and Long Branch or section 1?).
3. Jane updated us on stenciling stormwater drains project. She has a number of permission forms from stewards to work on various sections and her next step is to get the supplies from the county.
4. Discussed options for showing the trash vortex film from the Anacostia Watershed Society. Ed suggested we do a FOSC environmental film festival, perhaps at Dennis Ave. rec center on a Friday or Sat. nite, showing the trash vortex film and one that he has, with introductions and discussion. Wendi will run idea and June date by roundtable.
