Surprising amount mostly of plastic bottles that have floated downstream and been captured by the temporary sewer pipes WSSC contractors have assembled to serve as a sewer pipe while they clean out and reline the sewer pipes. The trash was collected over a two week period in January and February 2015 near Park Valley Road in section 3.

The water in the creek rises during rain storms;
the trash is trapped when the water level recedes.

The trash seems to be mostly water bottles and soda bottles.
