Water Watchdog Report

What: Other - Maybe paint or concrete
Where: Bennington Tributary
When: 2016-06-10 at 12:00 PM
Reported By: Anne Vorce
Additional Details:

At noon today, whitish liquid was pooling in the Bennington Tributary. Is this the same pollution that was there 24 hours earlier reported by Isolde Spiegel ? Maybe concrete wash or paint ? This pooled area is where many nesting birds and other creatures come for water – all the time. It is one of our urban waterholes. This water also becomes our drinking water eventually. It is not necessarily treated in the end to take out every pollutant that enters it. I have reported this pollution to Steve Martin and his team, chief County water detective at the Department of Environmental Protection, via the Water WatchDog email [email protected]
